Join local historian Geoff Bryant for a tour of St Peter’s Church – Barton’s greatest historical treasure and Britain’s most thoroughly-explored parish Church. In particular its Anglo-Saxon tower and baptistry, archaeologically researched in the 1980s, will be explored in great detail from the digging of its foundations to its completion and use for worship in the years around 1000AD.
