The Group’s first talk after the summer break will be a presenation by local historian Richard Clarke on Interesting aspects of the Local Area.

Among subjects he will explore will be:

• Why are there two ancient churches so close together?
• Parish Boundaries.
• Barton’s remarkable inter-war council housing.
• The demise of The Barton Book series.

Annual Membership of the Group is just £5 or for Individual Talks £2.50
