From Cellar to Attic at Baysgarth House – Heritage Open Days

September 17 - | Cost: Free

Event Navigation

Step inside Baysgarth House for a behind the scenes experience. Liz Bennet will lead visitors on a tour from the shadowy cellar to the hidden corners of the attic, uncovering stories, quirks and centuries of history woven into the fabric of the building.

Along the way, you’ll hear how the house has evolved, what secrets its rooms have kept, and how each space has shaped the lives of the people who lived and worked here.

After the tour, join us for an illustrated presentation revealing the completed Phase 1 restoration works – plus an exciting look at what’s coming next as Phase 2 gets underway. It’s a chance to see Baysgarth House’s transformation from the inside out.

Free, booking essential, tickets available from The Ropewalk.
