Barton Civic Society hosts Cecile Oxaal who explores the background of Dr. Murdoch, a Scottish medical doctor who settled in Hull in 1896 and who galvanised the suffrage campaign in Hull and East Yorkshire. At the Wilderspin & National School Museum in the Joseph Wright Hall, Queen Street [DN18 5QP]. Admission for Civic Society members is free. Non-members £2.
