Dr Bike & FREE balance bike session
North Lincs Bike Hub is excited to share that the North Lincolnshire Council Road Safety Team will be joining us the Dr Bike session in Baysgarth Park on Friday, August 21 to deliver a FREE balance bike session.
The North Lincolnshire Council Road Safety Team will be joining the North Lincs Bike Hub Dr Bike session in Baysgarth Park on Friday August 21 between 10am and 3pm to deliver a balance bike session. They will set up a mini Balance Bike course on the old tennis courts on the painted road markings next to where the Dr Bike will be set up.
Pop along to this FREE drop in session and bring your little ones along to have a go on a balance bike and learn to ride on the mini bike course (bikes and helmets will be provided)
North Lincs Bike Hub is dedicated to rescuing bikes from dusty sheds and landfill by refurbishing donated bikes for people who need them, as well as providing free safety checks and minor repairs through their popular Dr Bike sessions.
The event operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so simply join the queue and the team will get to you as soon as possible. Repairs typically take around 20 minutes, although this will depend on demand. If a bike needs more extensive work than can be carried out on the day, you’ll be offered an appointment at a future pop-up session – so you won’t have to queue again.
*Please note that they cannot work on hydraulic brakes, suspension systems or electric bikes/scooters.
