Saturday’s Heritage Open Days

The Ropewalk features heavily in the first weekend of Heritage Open Days.  A self-guided children’s heritage trail is available for young historians to complete during The Ropewalk’s opening hours of 10am to 5pn while CEO Liz Bennet is leading a guided tour of the entire building starting at 10.30am.  Finally there is the opening of the autumn exhibition Pru Green: Swan Song at 2pm.  Elsewhere the Wilderspin School Musuem is again having an Open Day from 10am to 3pmn while local historian Andrew Robinson is leading the first of his guiding tours at 2pm while looking at some interesting trees around Barton.
