Barton Open Gardens June 6 – 7
Some of Barton’s inspiring gardens are opening up their garden gates this weekend for the annual Barton Open Gardens weekeknd which this year is raising money for Baysgarth House.
Gardens within the town centre and further afield will be ready to welcome fellow gardening enthusiasts (and those who aspire to be) from 1pm to 5pm each afternoon of the weekend. Refreshments will be available at some locations.
As well as private gardens Barton Allotments on the west side of Dam Road, The Ropewalk Sculpture Garden (closes 4pm Sunday), the Chad Varah Memorial Garden in Baysgarth, the Wilderspin Playground Garden and the new raised beds tended by Barton Junior Gardeners in Baysgarth Park will be open.
