Outdoor Barton Christmas Festival cancelled
The outdoor element of Barton Christmas has been cancelled because of the weather but the festivities are going ahead at the Wilderspin National School Museum and Santa’s Grotto at Cobbler’s Sandwich Shop on the High Street.
The Lantern Parade is also cancelled due to the high winds. If you have made a lantern please meet at the Estuary Room at The Ropewalk at 4.30pm where they will be lit and photos taken. If you can then make your own way to the town’s Christmas tree on the High Street for 5.30pm to take part in the Christmas light switch on and Carols that would be lovely.
