Barton Civic Society programme of talks re-start

The first talk in the autumn programme of Barton Civic Society gets underway on Friday (September 3) with Marilyn Roberts returning to take a light hearted look at how some of the world’s leading auction houses, galleries and museums have been fooled by forgers working from home, such as the infamous Garden Shed Gang of Bolton

The talk gets underway in the ground floor of the Joseph Wright Hall on Queen Street.   There is car parking and facilities for disabled visitors.  Admission for Civic Society members is free. Non-members £2.
