Dale Mackie: Land – Steel – Sea

This free exhibition at Baysgarth House Museum features work by the prize winning Grimsby-based artist Dale Mackie. With specially-created artworks of historic Barton scenes alongside pictures of Scunthorpe Steelworks, Grimsby & Hull Fish Docks and agricultural scenes from 1940s Lincolnshire, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Dale has been an artist for 30 years and is based in Grimsby. He works from historical photographs, rendering the images in his own very unique and colourful way to marry the sense of history with the present. He has won several prizes for his work, making this exhibition one not to miss!
