Christmas Art Market and Christmas Fair this weekend

A two-day Christmas Art Market is being held at The Ropewalk this weekend and across town the volunteers at Baysgarth House Museum are holding its annual Christmas Fair Saturday.

At The Ropewalk 45 artists and makers, many of whom took part in Northern Lincolnshire’s Open Studios event held in September, will be lining the corridors of the quarter-mile long building.

There will also be a Cake Tombola, set up in the Artspace with money raised from the £1 tickets going towards the Ropery Hall extension fund.  Saturday will also see the opening of two new exhibitions, Christmas Craft in Gallery One and the annual Studio Artists Show in the Artspace.

The opening times for both days are 10am until 4pm and admission is free.

At Baysgarth House Museum  pop in for gifts from stalls selling luscious soaps, cakes, macrame, woodworking, knitted clothes, fun kids’ activities and more! As well as the craft stalls there will be a raffle and tombola, book sale, and the café will be selling cakes, hot fruit punch and hot chocolate.

The Christmas Fair runs from 10am until 3.30pm and once again entry is free.
