21st Barton Lions’ Annual Beer Festival to get underway

The 21st Annual Beer Festival organised by Barton Lions and held in Baysgarth Park gets underway on Friday (June 2) at 5pm and continues the next day from 12 noon..

The Beer Festival is the largest event on the Barton Lions Calendar and the biggest fundraising event the group organises raising funds to  help and support so many in need, clubs, groups, and individuals in the area.

All of the profit the Festival makes is donated to charity and a large proportion of this profit is as a result of sponsorship.

Entry to the Festival costs £3 and includes a glass, a programme and tasting notes.

On Friday evening the live entertainment is Emerald, on Saturday afternoon Barton Community Band will play from 2pm followed by Steve Smith at 5pm.  The evening’s entertainment is provided by The Setting Sons.

The Festival closes at 11pm on both evenings.
