Architect Cuthbert Brodrick subject of latest Civic Society talk

Yorkshire Architect John Scotney outlines the life and work of one of Hull’s most famous architects Cuthbert Brodrick. Brodrick designed Leeds Town Hall, The Grand Hotel in Scarborough and the former Town Hall in Hull at the latest talk organised by Barton’s Civic Society s on Friday, September 16.

The talk takes place in the Joseph Wright Hall (adjacent to Wilderspin School Museum) designed by one of Brodrick’s pupils, Joseph Wright.

The talk starts at 7.30pm and admission is free for Civic Society members and just £2 for non-members.
