Work has begun on restoring Barton Beck to its former glory.

The new restoration scheme is a joint project between North Lincolnshire Council and Barton Civic Society.

Wren has provided up to £32,000 from its community action fund towards restoration costs at Barton Beck on Beck Hill.

Once the excavation works are completed, other funding will be applied for to restore the walls, seating areas and fencing on the site.
