Barton Lions Annual Beer Festival

The town’s annual  Beer Festival hosted by Barton Lions Club gets underway on Friday in its traditional setting of Baysgarth Park. This charity fundraising event. has been running since 1997 and this year 45 cask ales will be available as well as four ciders, lagers as well as a selection of wines.

There will also be a selection of soft drinks and  live music as well as hot food from the Lions’ catering trailer.

Entrance costs £4 per adult which includes your complimentary glass with drink vouchers still £1.80 each for half pint of ale or lager or cider.

All proceeds raised are for charity and local causes in particular. with more details on the Lions’ boards in the marquee.

The Festival  opens at 5pm on Friday(May 31) and continues on Saturday from 12 noon.
