DESCRIPTION:Chris Bannister is a singer-songwriter from North West England\, his first album ‘Only Human’ was released in 1992 and got extensive airplay and was acclaimed by RPM magazine as one of the albums heralding a new singer-songwriter era. He has released eight albums of original songs and his latest ‘The Calling Course’ has featured on multiple country and folk music charts worldwide including a number one on the Australian country charts in December 2024 for the song ‘Cape Breton Wind’. The evening will include a selection of originals plus some of the songwriters that have inspired him over the years\, from Springsteen\, Dylan\, Steve Earle and more. \n
