DESCRIPTION:History teacher Susan Evans’ first job was in Grimsby and wanting to give departing French colleagues momentoes to take home she collected driftwood from the beach and made them into personal gifts.  So began her passion and interest in making “toys” out of wood and found pieces.  She decorates wood to create toys and sculptures telling stories that appeal to both adults and children. \n

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Barton Bike Night returns to its original day\, Wednesday.  Following a meeting of the Barton Bike Night committee  has been decided to move the event back to a Wednesday so this year take place on  July 3 from 5pm to 10pm. \nA proper bike night again on the first Wednesday in July.  More details to follow. \n
