Barton Town Band Talk – Heritage Open Days

Barton Town Band is one of the oldest organisations in Barton originating in the mid Victorian era. Jonathan Evison, its present chairman, will be taking us through nearly 150 years of brass banding both locally and nationally – through the band’s highs and lows, questionable Edwardian sobriety, and right through to its present day 100 world ranking position and youth development programmes.
