Community Banners on Ferriby Road roundabout

Barton groups and organisations that wish to advertise forthcoming events by placing a banner on the Ferriby Road roundabout are reminded that permission first must be given by the Barton Tourism Partnership that has an arrangement with North Lincolnshire Council’s Highways Department to monitor the area.  Failure to receive permission will mean the banners will be taken down.

The protocol agreed between the Council and the Partnership was that banners must only be erected TWO WEEKS before an event and taken down at the latest 48 HOURS after it has taken place.  Groups and organisations are allowed up to two banners in every calendar year.

This arrangement will only work if everyone complies and if not it may mean that in future North Lincolnshire Council will remove ALL banners placed there.
